How we handle errors
We classify corrections into three levels:
- Minor corrections such as typos, grammar fixes, broken links, formatting issues or small clarifications are fixed without a formal notice.
- Factual corrections that change a specific claim, number, product detail or recommendation are noted with a correction line at the bottom of the affected page, including the date of the correction.
- Significant corrections that affect the overall conclusion of an article, review or guide may also be reflected in the "Last updated" date shown on the page and highlighted near the top of the content.
What we correct
We correct errors of fact, outdated instructions, changed product details, broken or outdated source links, and misleading phrasing. We do not silently edit content to change its meaning without acknowledging the change.
How to report an error
If you believe something on our site is inaccurate, outdated or misleading, please contact us. Include the page URL, the incorrect information, and the correction or source you would like us to consider. Screenshots and links to authoritative sources are especially helpful.
